Hello all,

first, thanks for all the testing that several people spent time on!

I'm trying to gauge whether the test plan was followed appropriately. Some of the things are perhaps implied, like, when a tester says "3d acceleration worked", that might imply that, I don't know, vboxdrv built, or that guest-additions was installed. This is the key thing: I'm not familiar with virtualbox, and don't know for sure.

Specifically, the SRU description asks for these tests:
"""
Start a windows VM (generally w10, w11, w8.1).
Update the guest additions from iso pack inside the VM.
Reboot the VM.
Check if the VM starts correctly and the acceleration works.
Start a linux VM (generally ubuntu LTS or Debian stable).
Update the guest additions from iso pack inside the VM.
Reboot the VM.
Check if the VM starts correctly and the acceleration works.
Remove guest additions and install the virtualbox-guest-x11 package (linux only).
Check if vboxdrv is correctly built, check if *.ko modules are built on the target linux VM.
Install virtualbox inside the VM and check if it can start correctly.
"""

In the absence of clear statements that the above was done, can someone more familiar with the package please help and verify that these tests were done?

I can see that some obviously were, like "start a windows VM", or "acceleration works". But how about "vboxdrv is correctly built", or that guest additions from iso pack inside the vm were installed, or if virtualbox-guest-x11 was installed? This is all not clear to me, sorry...
