I've encountered this issue recently with the customized builds from the ~neil-aldur/+archive/ppa repo. The sound works perfectly for a while, but after a while it ends up messing up pulseaudio and I don't get any sound till I start a new session. I'll try to get a debug report next time it occurs.

I had this issue with the 1.1.28 version of the neil-aldur Wine
