At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem.
2. The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd'.
3. The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy package_name' or by checking in Synaptic.
