BTW, wrt previous post, I should add:

1. Machine has an nvidia board (but as others point out, this is probably not relevant).

2. I have *never* seen this happen with *any* other app for a year and a half - and I run lots of stuff. The xserver has been very stable, other than this.

3. I even updated to the latest OO from the OO site (2.4.1), and it *still* happens.
