Yes, I am still trying to convince Adam and Chris (owners of this
issue) that the issue is in Xext/sync.c and should be fixed in sync.c,
not in other modules (Chris Comment #45). I provided proof in Comment
#64 and patch in Comment #62, waited for Adam or Chris to either
concur or disprove, but got no response so far. The last time I heard
from them was around mid-October (Comment #41, COmment #47).
