I see the white line as well, something I think is related to the new drm module. However, as far as I can tell, the white stripe is just a visual artifact, it does not affect anything whatsoever.
If the ForceEnablePipeA worked well for you, don't forget to file a bug report upstream so that the intel driver developers can include the driver for your particular model.
