There are different issues at work here for different laptops (from different vendors). I can confirm that Macbooks 4,1 work fine now in latest lucid (alledgedly 2,1-5,1 works while 1,1 does not).

The Samsung NC10 requires a BIOS update AFAIK. Can someone clarify about what model this bug is and close it if fixed,so others can open bugs against Lucid if required?
