would you please ask the bug reporter to attach the following:

1) a xorg.log with option "modedebug" "true" in xorg.conf
2) vbios dump. you can get vbios dump via:

# cd /sys/devices/pci0000\:00/0000\:00\:02.0/
# echo 1 > rom
# cat rom > /tmp/rom.bin
# echo 0 > rom
