Comments:
Previous versions of Florist used to contain the following "special
exception" that allowed distributing proprietary software linked with
Florist. THIS EXCEPTION HAS BEEN REMOVED. As a consequence, if you
use Florist in your program, you have four options:
.
1) do not distribute your software to anyone outside your organisation
(you can always use it for yourself).
.
2) distribute your software under the terms of the GNU General Public
License (this implies that you must distribute the sources of your
software along with the binaries).
.
3) distribute your software in source-only form, under any licensing
terms you choose (including for example NDA or non-redistribution
clauses), and ask your licensees to compile your program for
themselves.
.
4) Contact AdaCore (sales@adacore.com) for a GNAT-Modified GNU General
Public license which will allow you to distribute your binaries
without disclosing your sources.
.
The REMOVED "special exception" text follows:
.
As a special exception, if other files instantiate generics from this
unit, or you link this unit with other files to produce an executable,
this unit does not by itself cause the resulting executable to be
covered by the GNU General Public License. This exception does not
however invalidate any other reasons why the executable file might be
covered by the GNU General Public License.
