* Merge from debian to fix Failure To Upload. (LP: #312182)
* Remaining Ubuntu changes:
- Modified the rules to call autoreconf -vif instead of autogen.sh
- autogen.sh doesn't properly force install updated macros, nor
does it update aclocal, thus causing a FTBFS when autoconf can't
find all the macros it needs.
- Added automake as a build-dep to support autoreconf

* add cvs-execute-statement-crash.patch fixing memory corruption in

* -dev: make dev. symlinks point to the right sover-named symlink and not
the real library file. Otherwise a new version of the library package will
break them. Closes: #485749
