I have access to three machines, all running Windows 7 Professional. I have linked my U1 account on all of these. On two of them, it works like a charm. However, on the third machine, I'm stuck at that "Getting information" screen, and it just won't go any further. Windows settings are similar on the machines. No firewalls besides from firewall.cpl, which I tried temporarily disabling. It didn't do any good. In fact, the machine that is stuck is directly connected to the Internet (over a DHCP hook), whereas the other machines are connected over a LAN (router-wise). Shouldn't make any difference, though.

Another funny thing. Here this. On the computer where it fails, if I make a new user account and log on to it and run Ubuntu One, it smoothly connects and syncs and all is fine. Then, I add administrator rights to this particular account, and when I re-log and run Ubuntu One I get that stupid "Getting information" screen, and nothing else. I have read some threads about old versions of U1 having problems with being run on accounts without admin rights. Well, in my case it seems reversed, wouldn't you say?

Any ideas?
