FRITZ!Box management software
PPA description
The Roger Router program is a graphical user interface that can be used
to send faxes via AVM's FRITZ!Box routers. In addition, the Roger Router
can query and display the call monitor, answering machine and fax memory
of the router. Incoming and outgoing phone numbers are resolved into names
using the address book or online service.
In addition, telephone numbers can be dialed from the computer and the
internet connection re-established. The messages or faxes stored on the
router can be listened to or displayed directly via the interface and
can also be deleted on the router.
Note:
If you want to use the incoming notification in Roger Router you must
enable this feature within your FRITZ!Box with #96*5*.
If you want to use the fax function in Roger Router you must enable
capi-over-tcp within your FRITZ!Box with #96*3* and the user must be a
member of the group fax.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:dschaerf/tabos to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dschaerf/tabos
sudo apt update
