PPA for Julius
PPA description
Julius packages built with ALSA and zlib.
Ubuntu's official package needs padsp command to simulate a legacy device /dev/dsp under PulseAudio sound system. And the official package was built without zlib, so multi-thread applications may crash if the Julius libraries are used in the sub-thread.
Also, build static libraries with -fPIC compile option.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:irie/julius to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:irie/julius
sudo apt update
