PPA description
Forward-ported packages of GIMP 2.6, for those of us who dislike the UI changes in GIMP 2.8.
NB, these packages are entirely unsupported by me and this version of GIMP is unmaintained by the upstream developers. Use at your own risk.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:malcscott/gimp-2.6 to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:malcscott/gimp-2.6
sudo apt update
