5G Lowlatency Kernel (Focal 5.4.0-81)
PPA description
** READ ME FIRST **
These instructions should be executed on your ARM64 test server system. **NOT** your work laptop. This kernel will only work on ARM64 systems.
* Add the PPA on your test system using:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:manjo/5g1
sudo apt update
* Give PPA the highest priority.
sudo vi /etc/apt/preferences.d/manjo-5g1-pin-1001
* Cut and paste the following exactly in the manjo-5g1-pin-1001
Package: *
Pin: release o=LP-PPA-manjo-5g1
Pin-Priority: 1001
* Install the kernel using:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install linux-image-unsigned-5.4.0-81-generic linux-modules-5.4.0-81-generic linux-modules-extra-5.4.0-81-generic linux-headers-5.4.0-81-generic
