Herodotos
PPA description
Herodotos is a tool to correlate occurrences of code patterns across multiple versions of a software project. The occurrences must be reported in the Org mode format, and the Coccinelle tool may be used to do so.
Herodotos currently allows to study several projects and several patterns in parallel. Once the occurrences are correlated, it
computes various statistics and generates graphical representation of the results. Among the computed
statistics on the occurrences, you will find the evolution of the population, the average lifespan, the density with respect to
the size of the code. Finally, if the project studied is managed under Git, additional information can be extracted and integrated.
