Squid Stable
PPA description
Squid stable releases from upstream, packaged for Ubuntu LTS (currently 12.04). There is currently (2013-05-13) nothing newer than Squid 3.1.x in any official Ubuntu repository. This PPA aims to make newer stable Squid releases available to users of the current Ubuntu LTS release, however the packages here should be easily portable to other releases - if anyone is interested in this, let me know.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:pdffs/squid-stable to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pdffs/squid-stable
sudo apt update
