octave3.6.1
PPA description
This is my ppa for octave 3.6.1 it is not customized at all. I am doing this because the latest version in the ubuntu archives is 3.2 and the some online courses (coursera pgm) require a version 3.4 or greater. On the courses discussion board a lot of linux users seem to have this problem which means they have to compile from source (dread!) this PPA is for them.

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:picaso/octave to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:picaso/octave
sudo apt update
