Liferea backports

PPA description

Backport of more recent Liferea versions to Bionic.

Because the Ubuntu developers/maintainers don't seem to understand the importance of backporting to an LTS release a simple fix for a very critical memory leak bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/liferea/+bug/1798418).

Bionic shipped with upstream version 1.12.2 (current Bionic version is labeled as 1.12.2-1). Literally any upstream release after that includes the relevant fix.

The version currently backported in this PPA is 1.13.5-1 from Hirsute (21.04).

Note: the About dialog says it's version 1.13.4, but that's because this is technically a pre-release of 1.13.5

Adding this PPA to your system

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:pombal.francisco/liferea-backports to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing) 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pombal.francisco/liferea-backports
sudo apt update
