PPA description
glibc with DSO sorting patches (https://patchwork.sourceware.org/project/glibc/list/?state=11&q=17645)
Installation:
sudo apt update -y && sudo apt install -y software-properties-common && sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:slonopotamus/glibc-dso && sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y libc6
Usage:
export GLIBC_TUNABLES=glibc.rtld.dynamic_sort=2
You may want to put it in your ~/.bashrc or ~/.profile or whatever config file your shell uses. I have no idea whether it is safe to enable this system-wide.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:slonopotamus/glibc-dso to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:slonopotamus/glibc-dso
sudo apt update
