PPA description
Note: Some packages are only built on Precise or Trusty, but will work fine in any newer release as well. Click on "Technical details about this PPA" below for how to configure your software sources. In particular, do not rely on apt-add-repository to make the entries correct.
For example, if you are on Trusty (14.04) or newer, include a "precise" line to your software sources:

In particular, for Ubuntu 20.04, add all these lines to your software sources:

The version scheme I am using will assure that you always get the latest package available.
gcc6809 is also built for Trusty because it depends on libmpc which have incompatible versions in Trusty and Precise. Since gcc6809 build-depends on lwtools, lwtools is also built for Trusty. Also Bionic needs gcc6809 to be rebuilt with updated dependencies. The Bionic packages work without issues in Focal (20.04).

Adding this PPA to your system
