PPA description
Contains nvidia gfx drivers for karmic and lucid
ATTENTION
Because of a nvidia driver bug only drivers version 290.10 were found to work in a minimal Lucid+XBMC install in Asrock ION 330 HT. Any Newer version hang and break XBMC.
to remedy this I compiled the 290.10 WHICH IS LAST KNOWN WORKING REVISION FOR ION BASED PLATFORMS.
NVIDIA WILL NOT FIX THIS BUG AND I DONT HAVE SKILLS TO FIX IT. PEHAPS OTHER PLATFORMS WORK WELL WITH NEWER DRIVERS, SINCE I ONLY HAVE ION XBMC-IF EVER NVIDIA FIXES THIS I WILL TRY TO PROVIDE NEWER DRIVERS.
If you find a new revision works with similar hardware and with Lucid Linux, please let me know.
At time of writing this all revision since but with exception of 290.10 cause problems with playback and audio.
