Generate and save MD5 Hash for when saving image.

MD5SUM? Of the image or of the program? Please elaborate.

Md5 is of the image This lets us know if it the same as original.

Ok, now I understand. I'll add that to the feature request list.

Jeff is working on this. Should be in the next release, which I hope to target for this month.

My plan is to add a "copy" button that will copy the displayed MD5sum to the system's clipboard. From there it can be pasted into whatever you like. I'm basically done. Just cleaning up.

Oh, as I re-read this - I was on a different track. The request is to be able to generate an MD5 when the user "reads" an image from the flash drive and saves it - as verification of what was ripped from the flash vs some "original image".

I'll look into that as well - I think we already have most of the hooks in place.

We already have an md5 for images that will be written - I'll add md5 for
images that are read from flash, and I mentioned that I added the copy
feature. So we need "BOTH!!!!" what?

commit 066062 on sourceforge adds the copy button on both read and write operations that use a md5sum. When the "copy" button is clicked, the displayed md5sum is copied to the system clipboard.
