Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

While installing ubuntu desktop 7.04 64bit edition on new hd in emachines m6809 as the second OS of an XP/ubuntu dualboot. Regular ubuntu had been working on my last hd until hd failure.

it said also to include /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman but neither would open. I may be able to get at them some other way if needed?
