I had packages gnuradio and gqrx-sdr among others since Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Removing gnuradio, gqrx-sdr and reinstalling resolved the conflict.

Conflict resolution sequence:
sudo apt-get remove gnuradio gqrx-sdr libgnuradio-fcdproplus0 libgnuradio-iqbalance0
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install gqrx-sdr
