I reported this crash to GNOME since we were getting hundreds of reports about it. It should be fixed in gnome-maps 3.24.2

Check the errors.ubuntu.com page for any reports of this issue from 3.24.2
This error can also be reproduced by:
1. From Ubuntu GNOME, add your Google account to GNOME Settings>Online Accounts (gnome-
2. Your Google Account should have some contacts with addresses
3. Restart your computer. It looks like gnome-maps uses evolution-
4. Open the Maps app and search for one of your contacts. Click the contact's address.
5. Close Maps. With gnome-maps 3.24.0 in Zesty, I got a crash report to appear as /var/crash/
