Bug Description

Binary package hint: linkchecker

rm: cannot remove `/build/buildd/linkchecker-4.9/debian/linkchecker/usr/share/doc/linkchecker/README': No such file or directory
make: *** [binary-post-install/linkchecker] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: failure: /usr/bin/fakeroot debian/rules binary gave error exit status 2

Since the README file doesn't get installed it can't be removed and FTBFS

This bug was fixed in the package linkchecker - 4.9-1ubuntu2

linkchecker (4.9-1ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low

  * debian/rules:
    Commented out the removal of the README file at post-install
    because the file doesn't get installed which caused a FTBFS (LP: #242662)
