I can confirm this,
I'm running Intrepid too, and can't install conduit, because the package 'python-gtkmozembed' is missing.

Got it!
I downloaded only the .deb file of the latets Conduit from the Intrepid repo and used dpkg force to install it:
sudo dpkg --install --force-all conduit_0.3.12-3_all.deb

And it worked. Got it startet.

Same happens with me - I may go ahead and do what you did Daniel but this needs to be fixed long-term as conduit is becoming more and more a part of gnome.

And it doesn't work - the python depends don't get installed including python gtkmozembed which you can't get from synaptic in the first place.

so i installed all the dependencies through synaptic except for python-gtkmozembed which i got from here: http://packages.debian.org/sid/i386/python-gtkmozembed/download

and conduit installed. Will give update when I can try it out.

Hi Guys,

Conduit is currently in a transition period to pywebkitgtk. They were apparently supposed to make a release by now, but its been held up. I will ping the maintainer again, as this will require an upload into ubuntu also
