Column resizing acts strangely

The issue is a GTK one: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316087

patch provided upstream works nicely. (applied against feistys gtk2).
yet to find any regressions.

ubuntu 8.04.1
Nautilus 2.22.3

You will not see the fix until ubuntu 8.10.

Is this ever going to be fixed in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS?

there is no hardy backport scheduled no, the change are not trivial and the issue is cosmetic
