invest-applet crashed with TypeError in on_tree_keypress()

  * debian/patches/81_silent_applet_cleaning:
    - Make sure that the deprecated applets are still cleaned from the
      panel config, and silence a compiler warning.

    - 09_modemlights_use_new_gst.patch (modemlights will no longer be
      built).
