Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg

On a setup with Radeon HD4870 and 2 monitor plugged, first monitor (Iiyama B2403WS) isn't working in X and second one (Wacom Cintiq 12wx) has wrong resolution (1600x1024 instead of 1280x800).

The setup is similar to Bug #277724 except I swapped a Radeon HD4870 instead of the Nvidia card (removed for the test).

This problem appears in both Live CD session and after install when still using the radeon open source drivers.

I've just now uploaded the 6.11.0 driver to Jaunty, and it claims to have a lot of improvements for output handling so my guess is that it may fix this issue. Would you mind re-testing against current Jaunty and let me know whether the issue is fixed now? Thanks ahead of time.

Since the hardware is no longer available for doing troubleshooting with, we'll have to close the bug for now.

Fwiw, 6.12.0 should hopefully hit for jaunty, and it promises a focus on r6xx/r7xx cards, so this issue may be gone by that point at the latest.
