[patch] Inactive import folder in f-spot

After running f-spot with LC_ALL=C LANG=C f-spot the box is enabled and it's possible to set the import path, which will then get stored correctly to gconf (workaround)

Stephane Delcroix wrote a patch against 0.5.0.3, which is attached

According to one of the upstream developers (sde) this happens to all non-english locales, hence the High importance.

this is the right patch. It's the same as linked above. I don't trust pastebins, let's host it on launchpad.

Is there a not-too-painful way to move images that's already been imported and edited in the wrong folder?

Hmm....

1. Just run once that in command line: LC_ALL=C LANG=C f-spot
2. Set the folder
3. Exit F-Spot
4. Launch F-Spot and enjoy.

Problem persists in Jaunty Alpha 3 with all updates installed as of today.

Yeah, F-Spot is still the same upstream version in Jaunty, so this will still be a problem. Thanks for digging out the patch Florian. I've subscribed ubuntu-main-sponsors to this so your patch can be uploaded in to Jaunty.

does anybody want to work on a debdiff for this update and maybe rebase the upgrade on the current debian version?
