Bug Description
Binary package hint: f-spot
F-spot version: f-spot 0.5.0.3
Ubuntu version: 8.10
Locale: ru_RU.UTF-8
Steps:
1. Launch f-spot
2. Edit -> Preferences -> Import settings -> Folder. Combo-box is gray and inactive.
Expected:
Box is active and available.
Notes:
1. If I launch f-spot from command line like this:
LC_ALL=C LANG=C f-spot
The problem disappears.
2. I have reported about this problem in IRC channel and I have got this patch:

After running f-spot with LC_ALL=C LANG=C f-spot the box is enabled and it's possible to set the import path, which will then get stored correctly to gconf (workaround)
Stephane Delcroix wrote a patch against 0.5.0.3, which is attached
