  * New upstream release
  * Renamed libhd14 to libhd15 according to new soname.

I was able to successfully compile new hwinfo, is Ubuntu change really necessary?

Hmmmm, when I initially did the merge, I couldn't compile it without the Ubuntu changes. Let me try it again

Ah, you built for amd64. It still fails for i386, which is the architecture it failed to build on before
