Bug Description

Vlc 0.9.4 and Mplayer doesn't play some FLV video files (which I downloaded from YouTube), but Totem play without problems.

Could someone inspect why this happen?

I add worked and doesn't worked video files to attachment, to compare.

I use Ubuntu Intrepid.

I have tested this video formats under Windows and also under Mplayer and VLC, some FLV movies works, and some doesn't works.

Why this movies works without problems on Totem Player?

Well, this is an audio codec that VLC 0.9 doesn't support yet. You have to use 1.0 to fix this.

Hi Bartosz,

This appears to be fixed in upstream VLC, can you try with 1.0 when you get a chance and report back?

I have tested this under VLC 0.9.8a under Windows and this video doesn't working.

Where I can get the 1.0 version to check it?

Is there any instruction how to build VLC source ?
