Bug Description
Binary package hint: ddclient
I am using ubuntu 8.10 and ddclient 3.7.3-4.1ubuntu2.
When I configure ddclient, debconf asks me for a password. If I enter password that contains some character sequences like backslash followed by digit zero, they are interpreted as escape sequences. Workaround is to edit ddclient.conf manually.

DynDNS.com services). This must be fixed for others as well.
