Bug Description

Binary package hint: me-tv

After upgrading to 9.04, when you change the audio track in the menu it can be changed in the menu but the audio doesn't change.

That is, when you change from english to spanish audio track in the menu, the sound language doesn't change.

It was working in 8.10.

If you record a program and watch it with VLC, you can listen both audio tracks so Hauppauge usb device works properly.

Yep, that is an issue and I can see that I have not implemented that in 0.7.16. Fixing that now and it will be available in 0.8.0.

I've think that I've got a fix for this in the upstream development branch for 0.8.0. Now I just need to wait for someone to test it.

Do you mean by upstream development branch the svn or a development
repository? Do you want me to do anything?

Yes, the bzr development branch [0]. If you know how to build source then you can try it. There's a guy that's updating Ubuntu packages for the development branch [1] but there's nothing in there at the moment.

I have installed me-tv - 0.8.0-0ubuntu1~beta~bzr384 from scott evans
repository (it is labelled for intrepid, but works on jaunty) and this
bug is partially fixed. It changes the audio track, you can heard the
right track but it doesn't change in the track audio submenu. It is
just an aesthetic issue.

Anyway i wouldn't still put 0.8 in jaunty repository because i think
it is a little unstable. For example, sometimes it doesn't respond to
mouse actions for four or five seconds and there is a low limit of
number of channels (only 20).

EGP page size can be changed in the preference menu. Next time I'll
look better ;-).

Well that's a bug that I can deal with the beta. But at least it works.

I don't decide what goes into Ubuntu, I'm not affiliated with Ubuntu, I use Debian. I'm just a software developer using LP services.
