Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-schedule

After installing Gnome-schedule in XUbuntu 9.04, there is no menu entry in the Applications menu.

Although the package says is provides /usr/share/applications/gnome-schedule.desktop, it does not appear in this directory.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.

After installing gnome-schedule in Xubuntu 9.04, a .desktop file is created as /usr/share/applications/gnome-schedule.desktop, labeled 'Scheduled tasks'. This file contains the line:
"OnlyShowIn=GNOME"
This prevents it from creating a menu item in Xubuntu.

Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!
