dunkelgeist, to add Tamazigh we need information about how its plural forms work. In English we talk about "zero things", "one thing", and "two or more things". How do plurals work in Tamazigh? Please read <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RosettaFAQ#head-168f69f965337a49d0ca9a0c69da7fee29100bd5> and try to provide us with that information.

Hi!,
 In Thamazigth(language) there's not a concise rule for plurals. For example:

Female:
Thafunasz (cow) ---> thifunasin(cows).
Thahangerth(girl)---> thehangeirin(girls).
Thauricth(leaf)--->theuricin(leaves).

Male:
ahanger(boy)---> ihangeran(boys).
Aczin(dog)---> iczinan(dogs).
Axar(nail)---> ixaran(nails). -- yes, in Thamazigth 'nail' is
a male word

These words are formed the common way that for female words is
changing the last character for 'in' thinking that 'th' should be
treated as a single character.

Otherwise, for male words, the first character is changed for 'i'
(always) and 'an' is added at the end of the word.

Also there are some names that have a not-common plural form. For example:

Thgadamt(ring)---> thigudam;
Thamoz(earth)---> thimora;
Stilu(pencil)---> stilauath.
Triqu(jersey)---> tricauath.

Yes, we have irregular plurals in English too, but that's not important. What's important is the number of plural forms. English has two forms: a form for 1 ("1 cow") and a form for any other number ("0 cows", "2 cows", "3 cows", etc).

How many forms does Tamazigh have, and for which numbers? Is it like English -- "0 thifunasin", "1 thafunasz", "2 thifunasin", "3 thifunasin", etc? Or does it follow another pattern?

(Also, "Tamazight" seems to be a much more common spelling than either "Tamazigh" or Thamazigth". So let us know if there's a good reason not to call it "Tamazight" in Rosetta. Thanks!)

In that case Tamazight is like English, it has one and more_than_one
forms. Sorry if i wrote it bad... (i'm just acting as a translator for
a friend)

dunkelgeist, we need to be very careful about this: in your last message you say "like English, one and more_than_one".

This is not accurate: English would be "one; and zero or more_than_one".
0 chairs
1 chair
2 chairs
3 chairs.

How does Tamazigh work?

Ok, i think these examples will explain it clearly, the same like english:

       (one) and [(zero) or (more than one)]

one chair --> igen ncursi
two chairs --> znaian rcrasa
zero chairs --> cero rcrasa
no chair --> ura dijen rcursi

when could i start translating something??? this is a little
frustrating... tons of mails but i cant contribute... please give me
some work. :D

Dude, I'm so sorry... I forgot this bug report...

I just requested your language changes.

We have it in our system as 'Berber (Others)' Should we rename it to Tamazight?

I linked also that language as spoken in Morocco and Algeria, is there any other country we should add it?

The changes should be applied later today or tomorrow.
