I have fixed the Maintainer field to Ubuntu MOTU Developers <email address hidden>.

The Maintainer field of the Debian package is correct.

I send a mail to their mailing list and asked if they could make the the test-suite failures fatal, too. But I did not open a bug report for it.

no, you missed the point. You used the correct email before for Ubuntu developers but you added Maintainer: for two times which is wrong. Please change the mail to the one you used before please and open a bug report into Debian as well.

Yes, I saw that Maintainer: is written twice, but in the Debian package it is written only once (Maintainer: Maintainers of Vala packages <email address hidden>). So Debian is not affected.

vala is still in universe, that's why I have changed the maintainer to "Ubuntu MOTU Developers <email address hidden>" (v2). Was this concept changed?
