Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:

 * Is this reproducible?
 * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

 This will help us to find and resolve the problem.

I think it the same bug i reported Bug #405265 earlier,
but i'm not sure why apport reports it to the wrong package , even the last time it was reported in gstreamer!

So, it happens often , but at random. there are no specific steps , maybe the comparison of the two crashes can shed some light.

BTW why hasnt Apport retraced the stack yet?

the totem-plugin-viewer bugs make the retracers crash at the moment for some reason untagging this one

Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate an useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

libgcc1: installed version 1:4.4.1-1ubuntu3, latest version: 1:4.4.1-3ubuntu1
libc6: installed version 2.10.1-0ubuntu5, latest version: 2.10.1-0ubuntu7
gcc-4.4-base: installed version 4.4.1-1ubuntu3, latest version: 4.4.1-3ubuntu1

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!
