Gdm should not be shipping /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/at-spi-registryd.wrapper.desktop, as gnome-session no longer ships the at-spi wrapper binary. Instead, at-spi should use its desktop file, i.e at-spi-registryd.desktop, and ship it in /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow.

I can confirm the problem. To solve the problem I just copied the corresponding file from /etc/xdg/autostart

This bug was fixed in the package at-spi - 1.28.0-0ubuntu2

the gdm copy is right and have been adapted to point to the right binary
