Thank you for reporting this issue.

Does the '/var/log/cups/' folder exist at all on your system? It would normally be created by the CUPS installation, before installing CUPS-PDF.

I have uninstaled the pakage cups-pdf again cause it does a lot of tricks when instaled.
without cups-pdf instaled the folder don't exist
trying to install cups-pdf the folder still isn't there
if i create the folder manualy and the install it seems as if cups-pdf works fine

Does this issue still apply to the Ubuntu Karmic release?
