Binary package hint: build-essential

I just did a fresh install of Dapper Flight 7.
I need to install build essential so I can compile modem drivers. This was available on the CD in Breezy, but seems to have been left out of Dapper.

I dont have a live cd (and the file list [1] is less then comprehensive)
Build-essential is on the full install cd [2] (just search 'build-essential')

We don't include the ship seed on the Live CD

... but we should; I talked with Matt about it on the phone and we agreed we should sort something out, because otherwise folks with network setups not supported by the installer can be left with a problem.

I've added build-essential, fakeroot, and various linux-headers-* packages to the ship-live seed now; they will be available to install after the main installation has been completed. (If you leave the CD in after rebooting following the live CD install, you'll get a popup asking you whether you want to launch synaptic and register the packages on the CD.)
