Bug Description
Binary package hint: kpowersave
When pressing fn+F4, selecting "suspend-to-ram" with kpowersave or "mise en veille prolongée" with Gnome battery monitor, my thinkpad r50e will go to sleep...but resume is impossible. When pressing the "fn" key, eveything will wake up, except the screen: the mouse cursor appears, but that's it: I have to reboot by removing the battery.

what helped me, was adding the boot parameter "acpi_sleep= s3_bios, s3_mode" in the grub. as far as i know in some computers only s3_bios or s3_mode is neeeded (not both)
