Bug Description

Binary package hint: aspell-sk

On official site of slovak aspell dictionary ( http://www.sk-spell.sk.cx/aspell-sk ) is new version 2.01-2 of this package. And on gnu ( ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/sk/ ) too.

Version which is in ubuntu is some years old. Can you update this package to new version in ubuntu?

In my ppa (https://launchpad.net/~pali/+archive/pali/+packages) I have this new version build.

In karmic is still old version 0.52-0-4. When will be package aspell-sk updated to new 2.01-2?

I have bzr branches which have updaded slovak aspell dictionaries:

lp:~pali/+junk/aspell-sk
lp:~pali/+junk/aspell-sk-ascii

Ascii branch has modified debian/rules script to generate ascii version of dictionary (without Slovak chars ľščťžý...). It use package cstocs.

It is possible to integrate ascii version of dictionary to ubuntu?

Thanks for the packaging work!

I'm sponsoring/uploading this to natty now.

I had to repack the upstream tarball, which I grabbed from:
 * http://www.sk-spell.sk.cx/file_download/64/aspell6-sk-2.01-2.tar.bz2

And called it:
 * aspell-sk_2.01-2.orig.tar.gz

I also fixed a very minor lintian warning:
 * http://lintian.debian.org/tags/debian-copyright-file-uses-obsolete-national-encoding.html
