Bug Description

Binary package hint: lyx

LyX 1.6.5 has been out since December 7, 2009, and it has been in Debian unstable for just as long. It fixes some annoying crashes that were present in previous versions. Please import this into Lucid.

Debian Changelog since current lucid version 1.6.4-1ubuntu1:

 lyx (1.6.5-1) unstable; urgency=low

   [ Per Olofsson ]
   * Modify build-dep on quilt so it accepts backported quilt as well.
   * Remove "obvious" Suggests (lpr, www-browser).
   * Remove conflicts and replaces, as they were only needed pre-lenny.
   * Only unregister latex-xft-fonts from defoma if we're upgrading, not
     on new installations. Otherwise installation might fail.
     Closes: #548119.

   [ Sven Hoexter ]
   * New upstream release.
     + Fixes a crash after editing formulars. Closes: #548519
   * Refresh patches/prefer-xdg-open.
   * Add elyxer to the list of HTML converters.
   * Switch to my @d.o e-mail address in the Uploaders control field.

Jonas, this can't be synced because there are Ubuntu-specific modifications to this package. I'm working on a merge now. By the way, if you want your sync requests to be looked at, you should subscribe the appropriate sponsors team as described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SyncRequestProcess.
