Bug Description

Binary package hint: netbeans

NetBeans has been translated into several languages, but Ubuntu does not include any option to install the proper language (G11N = I18N + L10N).

Is so difficult detect the langcode before to launch the NetBeans IDE?

Why has not been yet built a package with translations as well as has been done in openoffice?

It will be fixed on Lucid Lynx with NetBeans IDE 6.8?

Regards,

Robert

NetBeans can be launched with several languages using the same binaries, but if translation exists:

$ netbeans --locale en
$ netbeans --locale fr
$ netbeans --locale ca
...
