Bug Description

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-adjustableclock

Greetings.

- Add the plasma widget "Adjustable Clock" to panel
OR
- launch plasmoidviewer adjustableclock

- open plasmoid settings
- change ANY setting
- press OK

The entire plasma-desktop crash.
(it restarts a few seconds later, with adjustable clock settings unchanged)

Reproducible ALWAYS on
Kubuntu 10.4 beta1 unchanged
Kubuntu 10.4 beta1 + updates up to 25/03/2010

Just wanted to chime in and say this affects me as well. Also, this does appear to be a bug with the package itself and not the widget, as when I downloaded and compiled the source tarball, this problem doesn't occur.

I can confirm this. I tested it with a fresh lucid install and two updated ones (from karmic). The 2.2 package from universe always crashes the whole plasma desktop when the settings of the widget are closed, no matter if you have the widget on the desktop or in the panel. I too have compiled 2.2 from sources and it works fine, it's just the universe package that seems to be faulty.

I can confirm it, too. Makes the clock unusable for me.
