Bug Description

DESCRIPTION: Using certain themes will cause tooltips to be effectively invisible,
this is a significant usability problem in an application such as this.
Also there is a failure to build on both maverick and lucid

FIX: Patch stk-namespace-bf0f015 fixes the FTBFS due to stk 4.4 namespace
introduction. tooltip-colours-d63270c explicitly sets the tooltip colours
to make them visible no matter the theme used

TEST CASE: Use a theme such as mythbuntu, hover over lmms icons, tooltips
are invisible due to text and background being similar

REGRESSION POTENTIAL: tooltip-colours-d63270c makes a change to explicitly set
tooltip text and background colours instead of using system defaults so
 should not cause any issues.
stk-namespace-bf0f015 is a minor change to fix builds on stk 4.4
and later (lucid and onward). Also it should not harm builds on < 4.4 so
should cause no problems in any sense

This issue already has been fixed in LMMS' Git repository (commit d63270cd06e8cd0d1426801988f325eca031afd1). Please either integrate this commit as a stand-alone patch or package version 0.4.7 which will be released soon.

wait, this will need https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.2/+bug/578127 backported first or a dependency option

fine for maverick though, lucid will need wine-dev dependency fix for this to build

from wine-dev bug seems best to change the build dependency to specify wine version wine1.2

This bug is fixed in LMMS 0.4.7 in the Debian repositories as well - no separate patch needed anymore. Please upgrade LMMS in Ubuntu!

Unsubscribing ubuntu-sponsors for now, as the debdiff is out of date, and it appears that this is best solved by a merge/sync.

Bringing in a new upstream version will require a feature freeze exception (which should be easily obtainable)
