Bug Description
To use Cheese or recordMyDesktop is indifferent: the result is a video that can not see anything good!
This bug only affects the version of libtheora there on Lucid.
Please fix this bug!

I have this identic problem.
Every .ogv file i make is readable from every media player on my computer, but result corrupt on other computers / SO
.ogv files result corrupt if try to convert or load them on a video editor.
cinelerra make this output :read_frame( VFrame^ ): Expecting a keyframe, but didn't get it

I tried to downgrade any package related to theora and ogg, but to no avail
currently the only way I found to get around the problem is:
load the file on pitivi
export the film to another format
for reasons that still do not understand, pitivi is able to convert correctly
